Essex Town Hall and Library
While at McGinley Kalsow and Associates, Ryan worked as the principal for the restoration of the Essex Town Hall. Prior to the project the building was plagued by water infiltration, an antiquated heating system, and lack of maintenance. A full restoration and renovation of the Town Hall and Library provided full accessibility to the building, and created the additional office space needed for the Town. A new upper level auditorium was constructed providing the large meeting space needed.
Sandwich Town Hall
At McGinley Kalsow and Associates Ryan worked as the project manager for the Sandwich Town Hall. Prior to the project the Sandwich Town Hall needed a complete restoration and renovation. The second floor auditorium was being used for storage only, and the building systems were over 30 years old. The project provided all new systems, restored the exterior and interior of the Town Hall, and provided the much needed additional office space, meeting areas, and storage space. The design team worked with the Town to determine the exact programmatic requirements and layouts to best fit the Town’s long term needs.
